7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday

Your duties

Your work will involve:

Reading and interpreting plans and drawings to determine machining operations and their sequencing
Setting, adjusting and operating a machine tool and ensuring its optimal performance
Meticulously controlling measurements using precision tools
Using a hoist

Your strengths

You have winning skills:

Reading plans, spatial perception and 3D understanding come naturally to you.
Geometric tolerancing, trigonometry and metrology hold no secrets for you.
You’re committed to your work and you’re a responsible person.
You have a DVS in tool machining techniques or a mechanical engineering technology diploma and 5 to 10 years’ experience as a machinist, including one year on a horizontal boring machine.
